Teacher, Spanish

St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking a dedicated, experienced Spanish teacher to plan and deliver exceptional instruction to students in grades K-8 for the 2024-2025 school year. The individual should be knowledgeable about the Spanish language, culture, and traditions and infuse these into students’ learning as well as school wide celebrations. This position is 1.5 days/week. The successful candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment. QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in specific area of teaching 

Holds or is eligible for Maine Department of Education Certification 

Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel
