Middle School Teacher, English/Language Arts

St. Thomas School in Sanford is seeking faith-filled and energetic middle school teacher in English/language arts to plan and deliver exceptional instruction to students in grades 5-8 for the 2024-2025 school year. The middle school teacher will ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits of work and learning to become lifelong learners and productive members of society, steeped in faith. The individual should be knowledgeable about assessment practices and using data to inform instruction. The candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment. We look forward to you joining our team! QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in specific area of teaching 

- Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education Certification 

- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel
