Position Description

Saint Dominic Academy is searching for a passionate, caring, and student-centered professional to teach High School English beginning the 2024-25 school year. The position requires the ability to teach at all levels from 9th - 12th grade.

The teacher will work in a faith-filled, dynamic, and collaborative environment. 

The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic who is passionate about teaching English.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or similar
  • Positive, creative, solution-oriented temperament.
  • Experience teaching in the classroom.
  • Maine Certification (or eligibility) in Secondary Education English
