Christmas Week Schedules for EWTN, CatholicTV, and Relevant Radio Now Available

PORTLAND---From live broadcasts in Vatican City to special programs designed to enhance your Christmas experience, EWTN, CatholicTV, and Relevant Radio have released their schedules for the week of December 19-25.   • Christmas in Harvard Square: The Boys of St. Paul’s Choir School
    A Christmas special that will draw hearts closer to the Nativity of Christ. The Cambridge, MA-based St. Paul’s Choir School, the only Catholic boys’ choir school in the U.S., make their international recording debut. Airing on Monday at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at 2:30 a.m., and Friday at 9 p.m.
  • San Juan Children’s Choir Presents “Siempre Navidad”
    San Juan Children’s Choir celebrates Christmas with music from around the world; a unique concert expressing the joyful spirit of the holidays in Puerto Rico. Airing Monday at 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Christmas Matins from Bavaria 
    This acapella concert, featuring the singing Seminarians of Wigratzbad, captures the wonder and warmth of the Nativity of Christ, and transports the viewer into an ancient world, reminiscent of the chanting monks of old. Airing on Monday at 11:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve at 6:30 a.m.
  • Bach’s Christmas Oratorio
    Recorded live at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, the Collegium Vocale Gent presents Bach's famous cantatas, originally written by the composer for performance from Christmas to the Epiphany. Airing on Tuesday at 4 a.m. and Friday at 4:30 p.m.
  • Reclaiming the Carol
    The late Charles Dickens returns to find that “A Christmas Carol,” and the holiday it celebrates, has become overshadowed by glitz and commercialism in this touching story about the true meaning of Christmas. Movie showtimes: Tuesday at 2 p.m., Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., and Thursday at 10 p.m.
     
  • Lukas Storyteller’s The True Meaning of Christmas
    Christmas is coming, and the friends expect to receive many gifts. But their selfish actions prompt Lukas and Noah to show them the true story of Christmas, and how the birth of the Son of God should change our hearts. Airing on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve at 9:30 a.m.
  • In Dulci Jubilo Concert
    British trumpeter Alison Balsom accompanies this traditional Christmas carol which dates back to the Middle Ages and is performed in both German and Latin. Jacqueline Leary-Warsaw hosts from Nuremberg, Germany. Airing on Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Christmas Day at 1:30 p.m.
     
  • We Are Catholic
    A Christmas story bringing together the world's largest Christmas tree, a helicopter, and some lost boys, with surprising results. Airing on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Christmas Eve at 10 a.m.
     
  • The EWTN Family Christmas Special
    The Choir of the Eternal Word Television Network performs twelve timeless Christmas hymns on location at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Also, a special introduction from Fr. Joseph Mary Wolfe, M.F.V.A. Airing on Thursday at 6 a.m.
  • Carols by Candlelight from Knock Shrine
    Experience the sights and sounds of Christmas from the Marian Shrine in Knock, Ireland. This beautiful concert of Christmas carols, sung by candlelight, will lift your spirits and bring joy to this wonderful season. Airing on Friday at 2:30 a.m. and Christmas Eve at 5:30 p.m.
  • Christmas in Vienna Concert
    Celebrate Christ's birth with a special concert of international music by the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra, Singing Academy, and world-famous Vienna Boys Choir performing Christmas songs from around the world. Airing on Monday at 5:30 a.m. and Friday at 10 p.m.
  • My Time with Jesus
    Father Luis helps Christine, Eva, Enrique and Joseph to finish off the Nativity scene in the parish. The children travel with their imaginations to the original Bethlehem and contemplate the Birth of Jesus. Airing on Monday at 4:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve at 10:30 a.m.
     
  • Choral Meditations on the Nativity
    Live from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C. Musical composition for the Birth of Our Lord on Friday, December 24, at 10 p.m.
  • Sing Noel! A Christmas Concert
    From Ottawa, Canada, the Thirteen Strings Candlelight Orchestra and the Seventeen Voyces choir perform Fantasia on Christmas Carols and the Christmas Oratorio; French Noels sung by the Children’s Choir from the Ecole Secondaire De la Salle. The concert will air on Christmas Eve at 4:30 a.m.
  • The Catholic University of America’s Christmas Concert
    Singers and musicians perform in this annual Christmas concert for charity, co-sponsored by the Catholic University of America and the Basilica of the National shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Airing on Christmas Day at 10:30 p.m.

  • O Come All Ye Faithful Concert
    The Daughters of St. Paul Choir will perform on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m.

  • Live with Passion
    Fr. Cedric Pisegna will lead viewers in a closer look on the meaning of Christmas on Friday at 10 p.m. 
     
  • The Rose of Which I Sing
    A musical offering for Christmas from the choir of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will air on Christmas Eve at 5 a.m.
  • Thy Perfect Light
    A musical offering for Christmas from the choir of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will air on Christmas Eve at 9:30 p.m.
  • Youth Choir’s “Christmas Under the Stars”
    The All Saints Youth Choir will perform songs and offer readings on Christmas Eve at 4:30 a.m.
