Capital Campaign Manager
Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Old Town

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord in Old Town seeks a capital campaign manager, a newly-created, part-time, one-year position responsible for the continued implementation and completion of a $3.5 million capital campaign. This major fundraising effort will support the financing of capital improvements at the parish’s four church locations, including the rebuilding of the Newman Center at the University of Maine in Orono; buttress reconstruction, brick repointing, and interior painting at Holy Family Church in Old Town; parking lot regrading and roof work at St. Ann Church in Bradley; and exterior painting and ceiling work at St. Ann Church on Indian Island. The capital campaign manager will work closely with the pastor, the Campaign Steering Committee, and the parish business manager to carry out a campaign plan that targets parishioners, alumni of the Newman Center, philanthropists, and foundations to support this initiative. The campaign manager will have full access to the materials, wealth/feasibility studies, and other information gathered and provided thus far by the campaign consulting firm the parish contracted with to launch the campaign. The successful candidate will have familiarity working with nonprofit institutions; 3-5 years of experience in fundraising with a track record of success, including specific experience in capital campaigns; proven success at securing major gift support; superior verbal and written communication skills; and a respect for the teachings and organizational structure of the Catholic Church. Assistant Housing Manager
Diocesan Bureau of Housing (DBH)

The Diocesan Bureau of Housing (DBH) seeks an assistant housing manager to help in its mission of providing quality, low-income, elderly housing. DBH maintains 540 units across Maine. Responsibilities include program management and compliance, property facilities management, managing housing and maintenance staff at multiple locations, regulatory reporting, resident retention, special projects, and periodic inspections of properties and assets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with solid property management experience (minimum of five years) and an understanding of all phases of residential property management including marketing, leasing, resident relations and compliance. Keyboardist/Choir Director
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Boothbay Harbor

Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor seeks a year-round keyboardist/choir director with vision and enthusiasm to accompany weekend Masses, direct the choir, and play the keyboard for weddings and funerals. The keyboardist/choir director will also play for weekly choir practice, holy days, and seasonal services throughout the church year. Opportunities for additional services are possible. Sexton (Part-Time)
St. Mary Church, Bath 

All Saints Parish in Brunswick seeks a sexton for St. Mary Church in Bath (15 hours per week). The sexton will be responsible for light property maintenance, cleanliness of the facility, shoveling of walkways (as needed), supporting the residential priest and parish staff and volunteers. Additional duties include setting up and cleaning up the function hall, trash and recycling removal, organizing maintenance areas, washing and buffing floors (as needed), and daily restroom maintenance. Aftercare Teachers
St. Brigid School, Portland

St. Brigid School in Portland seeks additional members for its aftercare team. The aftercare teachers can serve one or several afternoons per week from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and supervise and ensure the safety of students within the aftercare program, provide a fun and nurturing environment for children, assist with homework, create engaging activities, and be alert to the needs of students as individuals.
