Chief Financial Officer

The Diocese of Portland seeks a chief financial officer (CFO) to preserve, protect, and administer the temporal goods of the Catholic Church in Maine. The CFO is a key advisor to the bishop, finance council, and others on major strategic, operational, and financial issues. The CFO oversees the Offices of Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Property Management, Construction Management, Information Technology, Housing, Cemeteries, and Safe Environment. This position provides leadership and direction for the diocese in financial management, investments, banking, risk management, property and casualty insurance, employee benefits and both internal and external audits. Organist/Choir Director
St. Peter Parish, Portland

St. Peter Parish in Portland seeks an organist/choir director, who is a practicing Catholic, to lead and coordinate the parish's music program by playing at Masses, directing the choir and cantors, and playing at weddings and funerals. The organist/choir director also plays at weekly choir practice and on holy days and seasonal services. Keyboardist/Choir Director

Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor seeks a year-round keyboardist/choir director with vision and enthusiasm to accompany weekend Masses, direct the choir, and play the keyboard for weddings and funerals. The keyboardist/choir director will also play for weekly choir practice, holy days, and seasonal services throughout the church year. Opportunities for additional services are possible. Applications are invited from experienced organists, pianists, and students. The successful candidate will possess experience in accompanying congregations and have familiarity with the Catholic Faith.
