CHERRYFIELD---The Diocese of Portland’s Office of Hispanic Ministry invites all Spanish-speaking Catholics to gather for a day of retreat at St. Michael the Archangel Church, located on 51 Elm Street in Cherryfield, on Sunday, October 2.
The retreat, which will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m., includes a Mass in Spanish as well as presentations that will cover a variety of topics in spiritual life.

La comunidad hispana ha sido invitada ha asistir a un dia de retiro en la Iglesia San Miguel el 2 de Octubre a las 3 p.m. hasta la 7 p.m. La celebracion de la santa misa estara incluida. Funded largely by the annual Catholic Appeal, the Office of Hispanic Ministry assists the Hispanic community living and working in Maine by offering Masses in Spanish and sacramental preparation, including marriage and baptismal preparation; faith formation for adults and children; education on social service support in the state; and help to individuals and families in becoming more involved in parish life.
