“Old Testament” Series to Be Offered in Person and Online by Good Shepherd Parish in Saco

SACO---Starting Monday, September 28, all are welcome to learn about the history, laws, ceremonies, literary styles, prophecies, and teachings of the Old Testament, in person or from the comfort of your homes.

“Old Testament,” a fall program presented by Good Shepherd Parish (Most Holy Trinity Church, Saco; St. Joseph Church, Biddeford; St. Margaret Church, Old Orchard Beach; St. Philip Church, Lyman; and St. Brendan Church, Biddeford Pool), will be offered on six Monday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Participants can either attend the evening program in person in the hall of Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco or watch the recorded version of the program on Thursdays from home.

The series is being facilitated by Dr. Bill Martel, a member of Good Shepherd Parish who was a Protestant theologian before becoming a member of the Catholic Church.

“Participants will be provided with the tools, tips, and techniques to help them in their reading of the Scriptures used by our Lord,” said Dr. Martel.
