Father Gerald R. Bolduc, OMI

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Father Gerard R. Bolduc, OMI, 72, who died in St. Louis, MO, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. A native of Lewiston, Maine, Fr. Gerry was a priest of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He professed his first vows in Colebrook, NH, in 1962 and was ordained a priest on September 9, 1969, in Natick, MA.

Among his various ministries and assignments, he served at the Bureau of Diocesan Human Relations in Portland (the predecessor organization to Catholic Charities Maine). He also served as chaplain at the Maine Correctional Center in South Windham, and he assisted at St. Anne Parish in Gorham during the summer months and at Christmastime.

More information, including funeral arrangements, may be found here.

Father Joseph Koury, administrator of St. Anne, says a memorial Mass for Father Gerry will be celebrated there in May.

Please pray for the consolation of his family, natural and religious.

“May Fr. Gerry’s soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
