Our Stories

The Dominican Sisters of Sabattus live the charism of prayer, community, study, and ministry. These sisters are members of an international community called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in action. Contemplation is at the center of their lives, so that they may share with others the fruit of their contemplation.

The Sisters' most visible ministry in Sabattus is their sponsorship of Loaves and Fishes, which includes a food pantry, a clothes closet, and a no-interest loan program for people in need.
