Organist/Pianist & Choir Director at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco (part of Good Shepherd Parish)

This position is a member of the music ministry team for Good Shepherd Parish and reports to the parish Music Director. The primary responsibilities of this position are to prepare the music program and play for 3 weekend Masses 50 weeks a year; recruit, train and develop cantors and choir; lead one weekly choir practice, prepare and play for 6 services over the Christmas season, collaboration with the Music Director for the Easter Triduum and being the primary accompaniment for funerals/weddings. Successful candidates will have a BA in Music, proficiency as an organist, pianist and choral conducting; ability to train and direct cantors and a choir, working knowledge and familiarity with Catholic Liturgy as well as strong people skill and the ability to work collaboratively with other music staff.

Music Teacher, Part Time, Holy Cross School, South Portland

Holy Cross School, in South Portland, has an opening for a Pre-K to 8 music teacher for the 2013-2014 academic year. This is a part-time position (3 days per week). The music teacher is responsible for providing a music curriculum for all grades and leading the music for school prayer services, masses, and special events.

Director of Communications at St. Paul the Apostle, Bangor

The Director of Communications will work collaboratively with the priest of the parish in directing the parish’s internal and external communications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: weekly bulletin creation and editing, press releases, oversight of generation and production of various media forms, maintaining the website and serving as a media liaison. Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, five years of experience in the communications field and proficiency in a variety of computer programs and web design.
