We know him because we have experienced him.
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice!
Since we already share in the resurrection, let us be worthy.
Those closest to Jesus are witnesses that the tomb is empty.

Second Sunday of Easter - April 7, 2013

Acts 5:12-32
Revelation 1:9-13,17-19
John 20:19-31

Faith in Jesus heals many in Jerusalem.
Christ, the Living One, loves us.
Jesus promises greater blessings to us.


Third Sunday of Easter - April 14, 2013

Revelation 5:11-14
John 21:1-19

The Apostles chose to obey God rather than men.
The Lamb is worthy to receive the praise of all.
Jesus cements his love for Peter at a startling breakfast.

Fourth Sunday of Easter - April 21, 2013

John 10:27-30

Good News welcomed by those chosen for eternal life.
Great multitudes will worship God.
Jesus and the Father work together for the Church.

Fifth Sunday of Easter - April 28, 2013

New believers must persevere in faith.
God will dwell among His people as in a holy place.
Jesus gives a new commandment: Love as He loved.

Sixth Sunday of Easter - May 5, 2013

Observing the Law of Moses is not required.
In the New Jerusalem, the Lord is the only Light.
Obedience to Jesus Christ will make Him dwell here.

Seventh Sunday of Easter - May 12, 2013

Jesus receives Stephen into heaven.
We urgently long for Jesus to return.
Jesus prays for us who have come to believe.

Feast of Pentecost - May 19, 2013

The community is filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit creates a new Body for Christ.
Jesus comes to those who fear, bringing peace.
God’s Spirit has all power.
