The presentation at Cathedral's Guild Hall will offer valuable assistance and information to Maine Catholics regrding end-of-life issues. The event is free and begins at 9:30 a.m.
The purpose is to publicly fulfill the Lord’s instruction to “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Mt 9:38, Lk 10:2). It affirms the primacy of faith and grace in all that concerns vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
The “topics and tea” event at St. Charles Borromeo Church starts at 3 p.m. and will feature farm-to-table and fair-trade refreshments as well as a panel of local experts who will offer action steps to attendees.
