On Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 307 Congress Street in Portland, the diocese will celebrate the ordinations of Erin Donlon, Hoa Tien Nguyen and Thanh Duc Pham to the transitional diaconate.

Bishop James Ruggieri will come to the annual gathering of those involved with, or curious to learn more about, ministries in Maine’s jails and prisons.  Discussion will also focus on activities, such as helping those returning to society after incarceration, or being present to the families of those in jail or prison. The gathering will be held at the Sacred Heart Hall, 7 Summer Street, Hallowell, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 7. Lunch is included.
